Monday night at 7:30, as Hurricane Sandy was passing through the city, Storee Powell talked with New York resident, Chelsey Gensel, a Cache Valley native and USU student majoring in liberal arts.

Division of Wildlife officials in Vernal are asking for help from the public in solving two separate poaching cases earlier this month.

DWR Conservation Officer Bryan Clyde said the first elk was shot and killed around October 4 on Dyer Mountain. The 6x6 bull elk carcass was left to completely waste. The only hunts going on in the area at the time where the muzzle loader deer and antlerless cow elk hunts.
