Amanda Harris is from Dallas, Texas and began her career in radio in 2004 at CBS Radio Dallas as the Local Sales Coordinator for KJKK 100.3 Jack FM. After moving to Logan, Utah in 2009, she decided to put her career on hold and finish her degree. Amanda graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Public Relations and Marketing. With her love of radio and having worked in commercial radio for four years, it was a natural fit to finish her final semester working for UPR and learning all about public radio.

Monetary Help Available For Utahns Affected By Foreclosures

Money is available for Utah residents affected by home foreclosures as part of a national settlement.

Utah residents who lost their homes to foreclosure have until Jan. 18 to apply for money in a national mortgage settlement.

The Utah Attorney General's office says homeowners should move quickly before the deadline to apply for a payment.

The national settlement is part of a $25 billion deal with five major banks.

Utah Man Killed in Rollover on U.S. 93

Nevada highway patrol officials have identified a 20-year-old Utah man who died in a weekend rollover crash in a desert area north of Las Vegas.
Troopers say 20-year-old Seth David Albrecht of Tooele was killed in the crash in Lincoln County about 6 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities say a 2001 GMC sierra truck was traveling northbound on U.S. 93 as it approached a curve. Officials say the truck traveled off the edge, then overcorrected and flipped over.
